Apologies but we will have to cancel the sailing panned for this Saturday as we have a fault with the Safety Boat. This is being repaired but it will not be possible to do this before the weekend.

We will schedule a new date for the Treasure Hunt and Water Wars towards the end of summer.

The BYO BBQ and Paddle in the canal on Friday Evening will still go ahead as planned from 7pm, bar open from 7:30pm.

LYC Summer Ball 2016

Following on from the huge success of the Curry Night last month (Thanks again to Chris and Hillary) we will be holding a Summer Ball on July 16^th.

Italian Food and Dress: Shades, Shorts and Sun Dresses!

Food from 6pm and Musicians wanted to entertain the crowds. £5 / head Kids go free.

LYC Rally 2016

Our Annual Rally is nearly upon us, and your club needs you! There are plenty of jobs which require many hands including:

–          Helpers for Kids Games

–          Raffle prizes

–          Tea and Cake Stalls

–          Food / Burger Stalls

–          Setting up from Thursday and Clear up on Sunday (marquees etc)

–          Car Park Attendants

–          Runners

–          Try Sailing – Experienced Helms Required, 10:00am on Saturday

–          And much more!

On the 15th April, we will be hosting a talk given by Honorary Member John Powell; “Salmon Fishing on the River Severn” starting at 7:30pm. Arrive early for what promises to be a very interesting evening.
