Hi all
A very successful and fun Friday evening at the club yesterday. David Phillip’s major birthday was celebrated a few days in advance by 40+ members and guests. Mark Pagliaro certainly had his work cut out to keep the liquid flowing and Jo very kindly fed us with a selection of delicacies. It was great to see so many old and new members and friends enjoying themselves.
I would like to personally thank Mark P. for stepping up to the plate (or glass, even) as Bar Manager; Martin who has given us sterling service over the last few years, has to go and get his eyes fixed in the next few weeks and we wish him total success in this – he is a “hard act to follow”! However, we are putting together an enthusiastic and innovative team who will be running the club Bar and events program, so watch this space.
