The Forest of Dean Local History Society are holding a history event on Saturday 22 June at the Sea Cadets HQ in Lydney and they have invited us to have a stand to exhibit 50 years of the people of LYC and our part of the former dock area.

We do have a stack of exhibition material and, hopefully, this will be updated for this year’s rally. Also if someone has some creative talent to enhance what we have this would be appreciated.

We are looking for a volunteer to organise the stand and for some people to come along and help. This is another opportunity to promote the club and maybe attract some new members.
