On Friday 25 February Gillian has arranged for John from RNLI to do a Flares demonstration (and that’s not the sort that those of us who were fashionable young things in the late 60’s early 70’s wore). Unfortunately, unlike the last time, there will be no fantastic pyrotechnics as they are no longer allowed to demonstrate with live flares – so it will only be dummies but we will find out which flares to use in which situation.  Start time 1900 for 1930.

John will also be giving advice on how to dispose of out-of-date flares.
